Danyelle E Adams
Hi, my name is Danyelle, but you can call me Elle! This website is a representation of my work, how it connects to the NASPA/ACPA professional competencies, and the ways I hope to continue growing in the field.
During my graduate experience, I have served as the Graduate Assistant for Retention and Programming with the Hudson and Holland Scholars Program. In this role, I have planned and facilitated programming events, developed retention initiatives, and managed projects such as the SUCCEED program. I also completed a practicum with the Groups Scholars Program, where I supported leadership development for the peer mentor program.
Through my academic and professional experiences, I have developed a passion for supporting college students, breaking down systemic barriers, and creating inclusive spaces where all students feel a sense of belonging. I am especially interested in leadership development and helping students build the skills and confidence needed for future success.
As I continue to grow as a student affairs professional, I am excited to design programs and environments that center student success, well-being, equity, and leadership growth.
